Why run your website on a plan

Websites are not finished products. They are running systems with dependencies: hosting, certificates, plugins, browsers, third-party APIs, payment processors. All of those things change without asking.

Without a plan, you find out something has broken when a customer tells you, or worse, when you check Google and your site is showing the wrong year on the copyright. On a Monthly Support Plan, we are watching for it before you notice.

Automations are even more fragile. When Shopify changes a webhook format, when Xero updates their API, when a messaging provider deprecates an endpoint, your automation stops working. If your site is wired into systems like that, keeping those connections alive is exactly what a tailored plan is for.

The most expensive maintenance is the kind you do reactively after something breaks. A monthly plan is a hedge against that.

Everything it takes to keep your website running: hosting, domain renewal under our management, SSL, daily backups, plugin and security updates, and uptime monitoring, plus 30 minutes of content changes each month. You keep owning your site; the plan simply takes over the running of it.
Content changes (included, 30 minutes a month) are updates to what is already there: wording, photos, prices, opening hours, a new team member. Feature work is building something new: a booking form, a new section or page, a design change, new functionality. That is quoted fixed-price whenever you want it, or built into a tailored plan if you would rather have a set amount of it every month.
Websites drift. Browsers update, plugins go stale, certificates expire, third-party APIs change, and the usual way you find out is a customer telling you something is broken. A plan means we are watching for it and fixing it before it costs you an enquiry. You own your site either way; the plan is about who is keeping an eye on it.
Tell us. Anything past the monthly content time can be quoted fixed-price as a one-off, or if you want a set amount of feature and automation work every month, we scope a support plan around what you actually need and what it should cover. Same month-to-month terms, no exit fees.

No. Month-to-month, cancel anytime with 30 days notice, and you can manage or cancel it yourself through the billing portal. (A 24 month minimum only applies if we are building you a brand new website on the monthly plan, which is a different offer and covered on the Turnkey Websites page.)
Sometimes: depends on the state of the site. Older WordPress sites with messy plugin setups can be more painful than they are worth. We will look at it for you and tell you honestly whether we should take it on or whether you would be better off rebuilding.
